On September 30 Mher Shageldyan, Chairman of RA NA Standing Committee on Defence, National Security and Internal Affairs received Scott Schless, Principal Director for Eurasia in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. During the meeting the sides discussed issues pertaining to Armenian-American military-political cooperation, Armenia-NATO partnership. Mr. Shahgeldyan highly estimated the assistance of the US Government and people to Armenia during the independence years.
During the meeting other issues of bilateral interest were discussed.
